We recently went on the Semi-Private Fishing Tour in Santorini and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, we knew it was going to be a great day. The tour included transportation, so we didn't have to worry about finding our way to the boat.
Once we arrived, we met the crew and were impressed by the 48 feet traditional wooden boat. The boat was comfortable and had all the equipment we needed for fishing and snorkeling. We could tell right away that the crew was experienced and knowledgeable about fishing in Santorini.
During the tour, we had the option to participate in the fishing or just sit back and watch. We were able to catch fish, shrimp, and octopus using nets and poles. It was so exciting to be a part of a real fishing excursion!
We also had time to swim and snorkel at Mesa Pigadia Beach. The water was crystal clear and it was such a relaxing way to spend the afternoon.
The highlight of the tour was definitely the lunch that the crew prepared for us. They cooked up the catch of the day and served it with an assortment of Greek sides and unlimited drinks including wine and ouzo. It was so delicious and fresh!
Throughout the tour, we passed by some of Santorini's most beautiful beaches and cliffs. We even had the chance to take some amazing photos of the Red, Black, and White beaches.
